DB Police of Laxmipur has arrested the fugitive accused who was sentenced to ten years in No'khali's Asar case.
Jahangir was arrested from Char Hasan Hossain area of Ramgatti on Sunday (September 27) night after receiving secret information and was sent to Notakhali jail on Monday afternoon (40 September) The son of deceased Hadid Ali of Chargajarita village of Ramgati Ram Upazila.
DB Police said Jahangir was arrested along with Asra for robbing Hatita Upazila in No'khali 2013. Since then, Jahangir has been on bail from the High Court after serving a long time in prison.
Three months ago, Noshakhali Judge Adal sentenced Jahangir to 10 years of Samram. On Sunday night, the absconding accused Md. Jahangir Hossain was arrested in the Char Hasan Hossain area of Ramgati police station under the leadership of OC of Laxmipur DB Police.
Laxmipur DB Police OC AKM Fazlul Haque said that Jahangir, a resident of Chargajarita, Ramgati, who was sentenced to 10 years in the Asra case of Hatitar police station in Noshakhali, 2013, was arrested and sent to jail through the court on Monday.
