The police have arrested 51 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in different areas of the capital.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) various police stations and secret departments arrested them from different police station areas of the capital for the last 24 hours till 6 am today Thursday (May 6).
1 thousand 730 pieces of e'taba, 340 grams of heroin, 17 kg 245 grams of ganja and 100 bottles of Phencidil were recovered from them.
32 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act of DMP.
