The opposition leader of the National Assembly and Chief Patron of the National Party (Japa) Roshan Ershad is still undergoing treatment at the Nibicharan Care Center (ICU) of the Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Due to the presence of abnormal carbon dioxide in his lungs, he was taken to the ICU on Monday. Roshan's son Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad told Ittefaq on Wednesday citing doctors that his condition is improving slightly.
After going to CMH last Saturday for a health examination, the doctors saw an abnormal level of carbon dioxide in his lungs. Later he was admitted to the hospital. The Assistant Private Secretary (APS) of the opposition leader Mamun Hasan Ittefaq told Ittefaq that after going to the hospital on Saturday, the oxygen saturation of Roshan Ershad was reduced.
