The case filed against five engineers including the executive engineer of the local government engineering department for the alleged bribery in Rangpur has been filed against them on Sunday afternoon, and the trial of the case was started in the midst of filing a complaint against them.
According to the details of the case and court sources, the city's New Engineer Rabiul Alam Bulbul was accused in the complaint of bribery and the accused was filed on May 7, 2019 in the Senior Special Judge Court (ACC) of LGED Rangpur Executive Engineer Akhtar Hossain and Senior Assistant Engineer and Tender Valuation Committee.
Jahangir Hossain, assistant director of the ACC integrated Rangpur office, filed a charge sheet in the court on December 8, 2020. In the charge sheet, the two accused in the case, Chao, accused a total of five people, including three engineers.
