At least 31 people were killed in the junta airstrike at Mitanmar hospital. A fellow worker who was present at the scene on Thursday (December 11) said the military had launched an airstrike in a hospital, killing more than 30 people, and the military was conducting attacks at various places before the elections to begin this month.
The conflict-stricken observers say the junta has intensified airstrikes for years since the military seized power by overthrowing the civilian government in 2021. The military has announced elections on December 28.
A fellow worker Y Hun Aung said that a military plane was bombed at the General Hospital of Mrauk-U in the western Rakhine state bordering Bangladesh on Wednesday evening.
"The situation is very serious, so far we can confirm that 31 people have died And we fear that more lives may be lost, with 68 people injured and this number could be more.
