A teacher has been accused of forcibly arsoning a 9-year-old student of a Hafezi Madrasa in Comilla's Brahmanpas, which has been arrested by the police.
The incident took place on Saturday (September 10) and a case of rape was filed against the teacher under the Thanata Women and Child Abuse Act.
Arrested teacher Hafez Noor Mohammad (19) is a resident of Bagaitha Haor village of Gotainghat police station in Sylhet. He is a teacher of Asadnagar Purbapa Paja Rawtadul Alfa Hafezita of Brahmanpa Upazila of Comilla.
The teacher was arrested on Sunday afternoon The police sent him to the police station in Comilla Women and Child Abuse and the court sent him to jail.
According to the statement of the case and local sources, the 9-year-old madrasa student used to teach the madrasa Hafezita branch. The madrasa was teaching Hafez Noor Mohammad. Last Saturday night, the teacher called him home and forcibly raped him.
The accused was arrested and informed by the Brahmanpa police station and the police arrested the teacher from the spot and came to the police station.
On the same day that night, the student's father filed a rape case against the teacher against the teacher section 9(1) of the Prevention of Women and Child Abuse Act 2000 (Amendment/03).
