Banking Regulations and Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank issued a notification on Thursday in the country, instructing bank officials and employees to pay transport or travel allowance during the lockdown. The directives sent to the chief executives of all Schedule Banks are said to be the limit of continuing banking activities in special orders to prevent coronavirus infection, and the next limit is initially scheduled from April 14 to April 21 and the next sum from April 21 to April 28.
In this situation, it is noted that the concerned banks have directed to take measures to bring the officers and employees to their respective offices. However, it is noted that the banks have failed to arrange vehicles for the officers and employees in all cases during the restrictions announced by the government. Bank officials and employees are facing more and more problems due to the inefficiency of public transport for coming and going to the bank.
