Omar Farooq Badshah (53), the chairman of Begumganj Upazila Parishad of Nokhali and former organizing secretary of the District Aomi League, has died.
He is the founder president of the Jati Sramik League and the son of former national parliamentarian and governor Md. Nurul Haque Mita, who died of a heart attack on the way to Dhaka Nether around 2 pm on the way to Dhaka for better treatment today (September 27).
Begumganj upazila has been mourned by his death. At the time of his death, his wife left behind many relatives including former Begumganj upazila female vice-chairman Shahnaz Begum and two sons.
On his death, MP Alhaj Mamunur Rashid Kiran, elected Member of Parliament from Noshakhali-3 Begumganj Constituency and Akhter Hossain Fassal of Choumuhani Municipality, expressed deep condolences to his departed soul and deep condolences to the bereaved family.
