On Friday (July 16) night, after filing a case with Doha police station, the police saw the arrest of 15 friends who went to Maint with Sunny.
The deceased Tarikuzzaman Sani (25) was a student of the architecture department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (25), the son of Harun-ur-Rashid, a resident of Jazira police station in Sharitpur.
Confirming the poison of the case, Doha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mustafa Kamal said that 16 friends including Sunny went to visit Padmapad in Mainot on Thursday (July 14) afternoon and went to take a selfie on a dredger machine.
When the poison was informed to the local administration, the divers of Fatar Service Chief Office and Doha Fatar Service Station started the rescue operation from night. Even after many searches at night, Sunny did not go to find.
Later on Friday morning around 11 am, the divers recovered the body of the student from Mainot Ghat.
OC Mustafa Kamal has learned that after the recovery of the body, it has been sent to Dhaka Medical College (DMH) Hospital morgue for investigation.
