Is Bangladesh becoming a friendless country?

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament GM Quader has said, "Is Bangladesh becoming friendless in the international arena? If the country is friendless, then who is responsible?" He posed this question in his closing speech of the 14th session of the 11th Parliament on Thursday.

Citing a recent statement by the Foreign Minister, GM Quader said, "The minister's words seem to indicate that Bangladesh is not getting any help from any country. Not just in the Corona situation, but in such situations all the time. Is Bangladesh becoming a friendless state?"

The Japa chairman said that the Rohingyas were given shelter in Bangladesh for humanitarian reasons. Even after four years, they are not going to their own country. Their return to Myanmar is becoming uncertain day by day. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be more proactive in solving the Rohingya problem. Demanding an increase in the age limit for entering government jobs, he said that it should be considered whether the age limit for employment can be increased to 32 or not.

Two JPA MPs demand trial of Mirza Quader
