All the members of Parliament in the five constituencies of the district have decided to pay their one month basic salary and all the government officials of the district to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund and will be collected and sent to the fund within the next three working days.
The decision was taken unanimously by the district law and order committee held at the Bhawal conference room of Gazipur District Commissioner's office on Sunday (July 12).
AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, Member of Parliament of Gazipur-5 Constituency, was present as a special guest. He first announced his one-month basic salary in this crisis and he raised a humanitarian proposal to pay one-day basic salary to all the government officials and employees of the district.
