Pakistanis are buying cooking gas in plastic bags

Pakistan is going through a severe economic crisis. The common people of the country are suffering the most. There is a shortage of LPG. Even gas cylinders are not easily available. In the face of such a difficult situation, many are buying LPG gas in plastic bags. News from NDTV

In a video, two men are seen walking down the street, holding large plastic bags filled with liquefied natural gas, or LPG. It looks as if they are walking with large gas balloons.

The bags are filled with gas from gas suppliers. To prevent gas from escaping from the bag, a nozzle and valve are installed at its mouth. The gas is then used in stoves or other purposes. Three to four kilograms of gas can be filled in a bag. It takes about an hour to fill the gas.

A local person told Deutsche Welle, "There is a risk that these bags could explode if filled with gas. But let me first say that I have not heard of any such incident. And the truth is, even if that risk is true, there is no other option open to poor people like us. Because the price of cylinders is very high."
