In response to the Prime Minister's speech, Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘Our misfortune’

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, ‘BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is seriously ill. We have already said that she is on the verge of life and death. She needs treatment. That treatment is not possible in this country. Her doctors said that the technology that needs treatment is not here. Therefore, she should be sent outside to a advanced medical center without delay.’

Mirza Fakhrul said this in an event at the auditorium of the National Press Club on Thursday afternoon. Chowdhury Kamal Ibn Yusuf Memorial Council organized this discussion meeting on the occasion of Khaleda Zia's disease recovery and BNP Vice Chairman Chowdhury Kamal Ibn Yusuf's death anniversary.

In the meeting organized on the occasion of Jubo League's founding anniversary on Wednesday, Mirza Fakhrul pointed to the Prime Minister's speech and said, ‘What a misfortune we have. Who is running the country by forcefully seizing power, he said, I have seen a lot of humanity, how much more. This is not expected from the leader of a civilized country.’
Mirza Fakhrul said that Khaleda Zia has been fighting and fighting for democracy throughout her life, she said.

After the Awami League came to power in the past era, the secretary general of BNP said that there is no such thing as truth, beauty and justice. There is only terrible revenge, tyranny, torture and muscle power going on here.

Paying tribute to the memory of Chowdhury Kamal Ibn Yusuf, Mirza Fakhrul said that he always struggled for democracy with knowledge and wisdom. Worked for the welfare of the people, and this kind of politician is not there now.
BNP Vice Chairman Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed said that he had a 60-year relationship with Chowdhury Kamal Ibn Yusuf, who was a gentleman and a very difficult person in politics.
