A popular Chinese blogger was stabbed to death on the streets of Nepal while live streaming. The deceased blogger's name is Song Soujiong. He is quite popular on social media for his YouTube channel 'Fatty Goes to Africa'. Meanwhile, Nepali police have arrested another Chinese blogger named Feng Zhengyang for his murder. NDTV reports.
The incident took place recently at Indro Chowk Market in Kathmandu. Gaan was live streaming on social media there. He was accompanied by two other friends. At that time, Feng suddenly jumped on Gaan from the crowd with a knife. He kept stabbing him repeatedly in the stomach and chest. At that time, the camera turned away and after a while the video stopped.
Later, another footage shows a bloodied Gan lying on the road in a semi-reclining position. He is holding his stomach wound with one hand. Blood is also seen flowing from his chest. At this time, he is seen pointing at a mobile phone lying on the road. Feng was also abusing Gan in Mandarin. Police suspect that Gan was pointing at the mobile phone for help while injured.
Later, he was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Gaan dead. Another friend of Gaan was injured in the incident and is also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
