Over 200 people die of coronavirus in the country again

Another 204 people have died in the country in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. This is up from 187 yesterday (Friday). The total number of deaths due to coronavirus in the country so far is 17,669.

This information was given in the regular press release on Corona sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.

The notification said that 8,489 new cases have been identified in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,092,411.

The notification further stated that 8,820 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 923,163 people have recovered.

Samples of 30,150 people have been collected in 24 hours. 29,214 have been tested. The detection rate compared to sample testing is 29.06 percent.

The highest death toll in the country was recorded on July 11. 230 people died that day. And on July 7, for the first time in the country, the number of deaths in 24 hours exceeded 200. The government's Department of Health reported the death of 201 people that day. Since then, record deaths have been recorded every day. The number of confirmed cases has also been recorded.

On July 15, 226 people died in the country. The previous day (July 14), 210 people died, on July 13, 203, and on July 12, 220 people died.
