‘The two-day environmental policy of the two-day environmental policy has started in Khulna University under the theme of ’Natural and Natural Resource Management. The Environment Department has launched the conference on Saturday.
In the speech of the chief guest, the land minister said, ‘Resolving the risk of water change, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's long-term plan has been formulated by the government. The Delta Plan has formulated the plan for the Delta Plan 2100. The Delta Plan aims to ensure water and food security, increase economic growth and maintain environmental stability and change the risks caused by natural disasters and change the waters and other challenges for Bengal Delta.’
In the conference, the emeritus professor of BRAC University discussed the research article titled ‘Challenges and Opportunities of Nature Based Solution in Bangladesh’ as a plenary speaker. Ainun Nishat said, ‘Callvag change is a problem for the next generation. This is why it is important to produce crops that are achieving food security, storms, salinity, drought, and low-quality crops.’
The opening ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Hossain. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. spoke as a special guest. Mosammat Hosne Ara spoke as Patron, Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, Member Secretary of the Ajko Committee and Head of Environmental Science Department, Professor Dr. Abdullah Harun Chowdhury, Professor of the Department of the Department. Md. Mojir Rahman, Assistant Professor Rabeta Sultana, was attended by 245 experts and scientists from Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Nepal, UAE, Poland, Italy and Germany, and participated in the conference.
