The government has promoted four additional secretaries to the post of secretaries, while the offices of five secretaries have been reshuffled, and a notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (May 18).
Meanwhile, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Ismail Hossain to Food Secretary, Additional Secretary of Finance Department Farhina Ahmed as Secretary of Environment Forest and Climate Change Ministry, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. Hasanuzzaman Kallol, Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and Additional Secretary of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources. Jahangir Alam has been made the Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare.
In another order, Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare Mahfuza Akhtar has been transferred as Chairman (Secretary) of Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission.
Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping Mohammad Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury, the Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Women and Child Affairs Ministry. Anwar Hossain Howladar was given the Health Department, Capital Unnat Authority (RAJUK) Chairman ABM Amin Ullah Noori as the transport and general department of transport and environmental, forest and hydration and the secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Md. Mustafa Kamal has been transferred as the Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping.
The transfer order will be effective from Mahfuza Akhtar on May 19, Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury and Mustafa Kamal on May 22, Anwar Hossain on June 14 and Amin Ullah Noori from June 4, it is mentioned in the notification.
