2 killed in bus-CNG head-on collision in Chandraganj

Lakshmipur -Noakhali The accident took place in front of Chandraganj Kofil Uddin University College on Tuesday (November 17) at the scene of a local Mahasaj passenger bus (Shahi Paribahan) and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw.

The deceased are Jamal Uddin (40), son of Abu Said of East Charmartin village of Kamalnagar upazila, he is a fruit businessman in Motirhat Bazar and the other is a CNG driver. Azim (38). He is the son of deceased Nashir Ahmed of Ganipur village of Choumuhani municipality.

Locals, Laxmipur-No'khali Mukhi Shahi Paribahan (Dhaka Metro B-14-4449) hit the CNG-powered autorickshaw (Natakhali TH-12-0509) coming from the opposite direction.

Laxmipur Traffic Police Inspector Imran Hossain Mridha and Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jasim Uddin know that the CNG driver and a fruit seller have been killed in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a CNG autorickshaw. Their bodies have been sent to the morgue for investigation.
