Artist Asif Akbar has completed his son's engagement. Asif himself announced the engagement on social media. Posting a picture of the engagement, he wrote, 'The current year 2022 has brought back the successful year 2001 in my life. After a long time, I have regained the joys that had almost faded. My family is floating on a raft of white clouds in the bright blue sky of autumn. Soon after my five-month-old daughter Aidah Asif became a father to Rangan, the wedding bells rang at home. Our eldest child Shafqat Asif Ran's engagement took place on September 24, Alhamdulillah.'
He further wrote, 'About six months ago, I got my cousin's son married in Katiadi, the present-day Kishoreganj district. This time, my son Shafqat is getting married in Kashiani, the present-day Gopalganj district. A brand new relationship with both districts. My groom is Ismat Shehreen Ishita, the youngest daughter of Mr. Imtiaz Hossain, and Shafqat is the eldest son of our joint family. The emotions of two families on the verge of a lovely wedding, there can be no happier news than this. It feels great to be united with a wonderful, happy, and close-knit family. As a resident of Comilla, I have now become the groom of Gopalganj.'
Asif also wrote, 'I feel very happy today after crossing the path of many friends in my life. Both of them are working alongside their studies. I have known Ishita since she was a child, I have always wanted Lakshmi as my daughter-in-law. Allah Almighty has helped me, my wish has been fulfilled. All the wedding festivities will be held in the first week of October. I have absolutely no time. I have taken a leave from my job for ten days. Please do not order anyone in the industry to work during this time without paying. I ask for everyone's prayers, for my true, simple son Ran and my beloved daughter-in-law Ishita.
