‘Hefazat leaders own huge property using poor students’

The leaders of Hefazat have embezzled the money in the name of orphans and poor students of the madrasa and have spent their money in their luxuries. The Mahanagar Detenda police has also come to know about the information of the custody of the remanded Hefazat leaders who have been found to have such information.

The Jamita Rahmani Madrasa in Mohammadpur is arbita Madrasah; which is against the controversial leader of Hefazat Mamunul Haque and his family, Mamunul and 20 members of his family are teaching in the madrasa and have been converted into a family institution by employing people of their choice by dissinging many old teachers.

The custody leaders in remand have admitted to occupying many more madrasas like this, the police say. Joint Commissioner of DMP Metropolitan Police Mahbubur Rahman said, ’There has also been a crime like occupying the madrasa. It is clear during the interrogation that the madrasa has been occupied, there is evidence that there is a lot of evidence that we have already found.‘

Police have also received information about the ownership of the money property of the Hefazat leaders using the poor students of the madrasa, Mahbubur Rahman said, ‘Although the students of the madrasa are orphans, they are innocent and helpless. Hefazat leaders have already gathered a huge amount of wealth, Bai-gai. Many have been involved in the incident like women's luxury.’

The interrogation police said that they are also being looked at whether anyone has paid money outside the custody of the recent movement, the joint commissioner said, ‘They said some money comes from outside, they know that several funds are coming to them from abroad.’

The police said that the operation will continue until the arrest of the sabotage and the fuelers, said Mahbubur Rahman, ‘We are trying to find out the names of those who are stranded by this extremism. Our arrest operation is continuing. Some more arrests will be made.’
