A case filed by the police under the Digital Security Act has been sent to jail by actress Mahia Mahi.
On Saturday (March 18) at noon, the police applied for a seven-day remand of Mahi in the Gazipur court and ordered him to be sent to jail without granting remand.
Inspector Shahadat Hossain, the court said, "The court said that Mahi was sent to Mahi in the afternoon. Iqbal Hossain ordered Mahi to be sent to Gazipur District Jail.
The police have filed a case against Mahita Mahi and her husband Rakib Sarkar under the Digital Security Act for allegedly tarnishing the image of the police against the Gazipur Metropolitan Police.

The case is filed by the main accused Rakib Sarkar and the second accused Mahita Mahi.
