A 9-year-old child has been charged with murder after gang-rape in Katiyadi. On Friday night, the girl's father filed the case at Katiyadi police station as the plaintiff. After the autopsy on Saturday, the police handed over the body of the child to the family.
The child's mother said her husband went fishing in the river near the house on Friday morning. After that, the girl also goes to the river to look for her father. After a while, when it started raining, the father asked the daughter to go home. On the way back home, their daughter goes missing. After a long search, the dead body was found with hands and feet tied and a veil tied around the neck. He demanded maximum punishment for those involved in the incident. According to the family members, she was strangled to death by miscreants after gang-rape.
OCSM Shahadat Hossain of Katiadi police station said that the child's father has filed a case of murder after rape. An operation is underway to arrest the accused.
