Uncut censor got ‘Rehana Moritam Noor’

The uncut censor got the much-discussed movie ‘Rehana Mori'at Noor’ directed by Abdullah Mohammad Saad and the Censor Authority has decided to allow the release of the film on Wednesday.

A member of the Censor Board, who did not wish to be named, said that the decision to issue uncut sensors after the movie was shown on Wednesday, and the movie entrants may get a censor certificate next week.

Earlier on Sunday, the movie was submitted to the ‘Rehana Moriet Noor’ censor board. The executive producer of the movie, Ehsanul Haque Babu, said that if everything goes well, the audience will be able to watch the movie in the theaters of the country in the last week of October.

The 74th Cannes Film Festival was featured in the ‘Ansarten Regard’ category as the first movie in Bangladesh, ‘Rehana Morith Noor’, which was also featured at the Melbourne International Film Festival and also from the British Film Institute of London Film Festival.

The story of the film centered on the private medical college teacher Rehana Morith Noor, while Ajmeri Haque Bandhan has acted as the central character.
