Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has commented that BNP is degrading the country's independent judiciary. He made this comment at a regular briefing at his official residence on Monday morning.

Obaidul Quader said, 'BNP came to the election to question the Election Commission and the election system.' He also said, 'People have turned away from BNP because they have understood these things.'
Commenting that no one can break the record of BNP's past history of manipulation, Awami League General Secretary said, 'They are the ones who are now raising questions about the election system? A passport is purely a travel document and identity, nothing else, it is not a foreign policy or geopolitical book. Passports have nothing to do with world politics, e-passports are now accepted worldwide.'
Awami League General Secretary, Mirza Fakhrul said that it is not understandable why Mirza Fakhrul is suddenly making such fictitious allegations about passport and foreign relations.
