A student, Sakibur Rahman, has been expelled for making obscene comments on the official Facebook page of Raujan Government College, Chittagong.
This information was announced in an office order notification signed by College Acting Principal Neelim Nawaz Chowdhury on the official Facebook page of the college at 5 pm on Tuesday (August 31).
The expelled student named Sakibur Rahman is a student of the eleventh class humanities department of Rouzan Government College. His college roll number is 90.
According to the office order source, a policy decision was taken to expel the 2020-2021 academic year 11th class humanities student Mohammad Sakibur Rahman from the college for making obscene and ugly comments on the official Facebook page of Roujan College. The concerned authorities are requested to refrain from accepting the assignment of the said student
At the same time all are requested to exercise caution in commenting or liking comments, commenting or sharing any post on social media or virtual platforms.
In this regard, Raujan College Principal (Acting) Salim Nawaz told Daily Ittefaq that a post was posted on the official Facebook page of Raujan Government College giving guidance to the students regarding the assignment. There a student named Sakibur Rahman made obscene and ugly comments. If this matter comes to our attention we give notice to the parent assistant student to attend the college. As the student ignored this order and did not attend the college, the decision was taken to expel him.
It was not possible to contact the student Sakibur Rahman to know about this complaint.
