Two-day trade fair in New York in September, applications by May 31

The 'Sixth Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair' will be held in New York from 22nd to 23rd September for two days.

The Ministry of Commerce has approved the organization of the event and the Export Development Bureau (EPB), an agency under the Ministry, has already listed the fair.

To participate in this fair, you have to apply to the fair department of EPB before May 31. EPB will refund the application fee if the visa is not received. However, the agency will not refund the application fee if no one joins after getting a visa. Khabar bus

United States Bangladesh Business Link, Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and Muktdhara New York will host the fair. It is supported by Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). The event will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. The theme of the event is 'Smart Economy Unlocking Opportunities'.

EPB is going to participate in this fair to increase the export of Bangladeshi products to the United States. EPB has already invited various sectors including banks and financial institutions, capital markets, ready-made garments, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, information technology products, leather and leather products, handicrafts, jute and diversified products of jute, housing to participate in this fair.

Apart from stalls of Bangladeshi products, there will be various seminars on exporting Bangladeshi products to the US and showcasing emerging Bangladesh to the mainstream businessmen of the US. The fair will be arranged as a perfect combination of commercial and cultural showcase of the country. The goal is to facilitate bilateral trade between the United States and Bangladesh.

Biswajit Saha, founder of Muktdhara New York, said that more than 30 companies participated in the fair held in September last year. A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between FBCCI and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce. I am expecting some good investments from the United States in Bangladesh from this fair.
