Chandraganj Highway Police Station Joined by the new officer in charge (OC) Zobairul Haque. The matter was confirmed by police sources on Friday (December 11) evening. Before this, he officially took over on December 4. New OC Zobairul Haque replaces outgoing OC Ruhul Amin. Before this, he served in the same position at Raujan Highway Police Station in Chittagong.
His village home is in Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar district. He joined Bangladesh Police Force in 1993 as SI. Seeking the sincere cooperation of the journalists, the new OC Zobairul Haque said - his first goal is to reduce the traffic congestion on the highway in the Chandraganj Highway Police Station area and restore order in the transport. He said that action will be taken against the vehicles which are banned on the highway including battery-powered easy bikes, nasimons, karimons, bhotbats.
