This time Sunil Shetty brought his own food delivery app. Apps like Food Panda are challenging the food business. According to Sunil, his app costs about 15 to 20 percent less than the popular food delivery apps in the market.
He launched his new food delivery app in Mumbai on Tuesday (May 9). Named 'Bayu'. The app is founded by Anirudh Kotgire and Mandar Lande. Sunil is the app's ambassador and one of the investors.
According to the app, there will be zero commission facility, as a result of which the customers will get the profit directly. It is the first app in the food industry to do business on a zero commission basis.
Currently the app is working only in Mumbai city. Later there are plans to bring the app to other cities through the government platform 'Open Network for Digital Commerce'.
